EzyWireless for SAP

Most companies who implement an ERP system are confronted with the issue of how to simplify and streamline the logistics and other processes utilising radio frequency (RF) technology. In SAP R/3, this issue has always been addressed by selecting and implementing a 3rd party RF "Middleware" system. Since SAP did not offer any type of RF solution, this became the only choice.

EzyWireless is a solution for remote frequency and SAP R/3 incorporating the following components:

• Remote frequency devices
• Middleware connectivity provided via SAP Console that supports character based and GUI based RF devices
• SAP transactions for various modules designed specifically for RF.
• EzyWireless will combine these components together to offer a complete solution for RF.

In SAP R/3 4.6 standard transactions are offered for Warehouse Management. An integral part of EzyWireless will also be to provide transactions for other modules of SAP.

Features

The following are the main features of our EzyWireless Solution:

Ezywireless is a complete solution for RF using mobile terminals. It Provides "ready to use" transactions in the areas of;

• Warehouse management (Standard SAP transactions for 4.6B upwards)
• Inventory management
• Physical inventory
• Sales and distribution

• Menu and screen management is available in the customising application (IMG) and does not require modifying ABAP code
• Transactions and screens can be tested in GUI environment without requiring RF devices
• Less complications when upgrading. Most, if not all, ABAP code will upgrade and can be supported through a software maintenance agreement
• No 3rd party middleware and far less complex than most middleware systems

EzyWireless provides a fully integrated solution for RF execution in SAP. Business process steps can be completed on mobile RF terminals and the results updated directly into SAP in real time.
